Love that Mr. Bennet!

It is amazing how the world pace has accelerated! If I took a fortnight to answer my e-mail, my friends might think that; 1.) my computer crashed again, or 2.)Mr. Darcy had arrived on my doorstep!

I agree, Laurel Ann. None of my friends would think that I was giving ‘early attention’ to their phone calls and emails if I took a fortnight to respond!

  3. I think that’s the joke here — that something urgent should have been responded to very quickly, and he waited a fortnight.
Occasionally I think I do take a fortnight to answer my email. 😉

Ah! Now I get it. Thank goodness things have not changed so very much. Oh that Mr. Bennet!
